Sumplete
Sumplete
The goal of the logic-based puzzle game Sumlete is to remove numbers from a grid so that each row and column adds up to a target number that is shown on the grid's bottom and right sides. Although there are digital and mobile app versions of the game, it may also be played on paper.
These Are Sumlete's Fundamental Rules:
The game is played on a numerical grid.
A goal number appears on the right and bottom sides of the grid, respectively, for each row and column.
The goal is to remove numbers from the grid so that the total of each row and column equals the desired number.
Only when a number is next to another number, either vertically or horizontally, can it be removed.
Any numbers that are still in the same row or column after a number is removed will move to take its place.
When every row and column simultaneously adds up to the desired number, the game is won.
Sumlete can be played at different levels of difficulty; the challenge increases with larger grids and greater target numbers. It's an entertaining and interesting approach to develop reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
