Plusword, a popular online word game, challenges vocabulary and deduction. Players get six opportunities to guess a five-letter word. The game highlights squares in different colors after each five-letter word submission.

Game feedback is vital. The green square indicates the correct letter in the mystery word. The yellow square shows the letter is in the mystery word but in a different position. Red squares indicate the letter is not in the mystery word.

Each try helps players narrow down the secret word. If a player submits the word "lives" and receives a green square for the letter "L," they know the mystery word contains a "L" in the first position. If they get a yellow square for "I," they know the mystery word contains "I" but not in the second position. Players can eliminate letters not in the mystery word and refine their guesses with each attempt.

Plusword is a daily puzzle game with a fresh mystery word to solve. Some days are harder than others in the game. Players can practice or play yesterday's puzzles.
