In Oundle, show off what you know about English places. In one type of Wordle, the player has six chances to guess the name of a place in the UK from the ideas given. Test your guessing skills and learn more about England, a beautiful country.
Tips on how to play
There are six chances to guess five-letter words in this game. English words that refer to places are fine here. Most of the right answers are in the list of the 1,000 most popular words in the English language. The bigger book, on the other hand, is based on the British Gazette of Place Names, which has a long list of towns and cities. The game will then change the color of the puzzle to show how your guess turned out. You can narrow down your search to the exact word by using this method:
- It should be in the right place if a green letter is part of a word.
- The letter is in the wrong place (yellow) and should be part of a word.
- There is no word that needs the letter gray.
- Every day, a new word is made for the game, so you can play it every day and see how your score other people. The word can have anywhere from 4 to 11 letters. It gets harder to play as the term goes on. Studying other countries and regions, like England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland, can help you see more of the world. One way to test yourself is to change the game's speed and difficulty settings.
