If you love words, you've probably heard of Wordle, the word guessing game that has taken the Internet by storm and gained millions of daily users in just three months. But if you like birds as well as books, there's also a game for you. Alex Tomlinson, a graphic designer for Audubon, made the game BRDL. It tests the player's ability to decode the four-letter strip codes that scientists use as shorthand for species names (like MODO for mourning pigeons or GREG for great storks).
